After meeting at Rize Airport, we set off towards the Fırtına Valley in our vehicle.
Çat Village
We drive to Çat Village or its vicinity depending on road conditions. After touring the village, we descend from Çat Village. Then, after regrouping with our vehicle, we head to the Boxwood Forest.
Boxwood Forests & Palovit Waterfall & Zil Castle
Although it's said to be the world's second largest boxwood forest, there is no definitive proof of this. In recent years, the boxwoods have become diseased and dried up. You may wonder why we have brought you here. The dried boxwood forest has a peculiar beauty of its own. Of course, our hope is for the boxwoods to revive. :( After completing our visit to the Boxwood Forests, we head to Palovit Waterfall. This waterfall, at 15 meters high, is not the tallest in the region, but it has the highest flow rate. During periods of heavy snowfall, these two places offer us different beauties under a blanket of snow. After leaving the waterfall, we go to our final stop of the day, Zil Castle (Zir Castle). After touring and photographing the 14th-century castle, we settle into our hotel.
After breakfast, we set off in our vehicle.
Tar Stream Valley & Bulut Waterfall & The Villages of Fırtına
Our first hiking route today will be the Tar Stream Valley, located on the road to Ayder Plateau. We’ll walk along the riverside in the narrow valley, covering a total round-trip distance of 3 km. It’s not a difficult walk, and we’ll be stopping to take plenty of photos along the way.
At the 1.5 km mark, we’ll be greeted by Bulut Waterfall. When you look at the spot where this cascading waterfall flows, you’ll truly see it pouring out of the clouds. After we take photos here, we’ll return along the same route.
After the lunch break, those who wish can be dropped off at the hotel, while those who want to continue walking can join us for a stroll in one of the neighborhoods—Konaklar, Küşüve, or Mecnun. These spots, with their traditional houses, will offer gorgeous views under the snow.
Mollaveyis Village
After breakfast, we will take a walk through the snow from Mollaveyis Village to Çinçiva Village (Şenyuva). The entire route leads through the forest. We will be surrounded by chestnut, linden, and spruce trees. After a 45-minute walk, we will reach the Zizna Area.
Zizna & Çinçiva Bridge
Here, we visit the historic mansions. Afterwards, we leave Zizna and continue our walk. Following forest trails, we complete the stage with another 1 hour and 15 minutes’ walk to Çinçiva Bridge, where we take group souvenir photos on the historic Çinçiva Bridge and then return to our hotel.
Çağlayan Valley & Laz Mansions
Next, we depart from our hotel and head towards Çağlayan Valley in the Fındıklı district of Rize. Here, we visit the magnificent examples of authentic Laz architecture still standing today. Afterwards, we set out for Rize Airport, bidding you farewell in hopes of meeting again on another Bukla Tour trip.

Single Difference
The difference you need to pay when you want to stay alone in the hotel room. This difference is not requested by Bukla Tour, but by the hotels, and generally the full cost of the second person's accommodation. All single room requests are adjusted according to the availability of the hotels, but are not guaranteed.
