After meeting at Rize Airport at 10:00, we head towards Macahel in our vehicle. The journey will take three hours. After turning onto the Macahel road, we'll take a short detour to visit Borçka Karagöl as well. After our first walk around the lake, we will continue towards Macahel. Our first stop will be the natural wonder, Maral Waterfall. After getting out of our vehicle, a brief walk will bring the 64-meter waterfall before us, where we will spend quite some time. We'll first enjoy some tea and take photos. Then we’ll descend along the path and have a chance to go under the waterfall. You shouldn’t miss this amazing experience—make sure to bring your swimsuits. After saying goodbye to Maral Waterfall, we’ll visit Iremit Mosque, an architectural masterpiece with its colorful woodwork. In the evening, we’ll end the day relaxing on the terrace of our guesthouse, enjoying local dishes and the beautiful Macahel scenery.
After breakfast, we leave Macahel and head towards Şavşat. Our route will take us along the green road at the foothills of the Karçal Mountains. Our first stop will be Naçaridev Lake at an altitude of 2,650 meters. We'll get out of the vehicle and reach the lake with a 5-minute walk. A lake means a swimming break. After taking a break here for about an hour, we'll continue on to Lekoban Plateau. After the meal, our next stop will be Maden Village (Bazgiret). With its houses built in local architectural style, it’s perfect for photos. We’ll take an easy walk from the upper part of the village downward, taking photos along the way. After this, we'll arrive in central Şavşat. After shopping for supplies such as packed food and fruits for the following days, we’ll reach our hotel with a half-hour drive.
Note: We are planning to have lunch in Bazgiret with local flavors. If the guesthouse there is closed, we’ll prepare packed meals ourselves.
It's time to head back. After breakfast, we leave Şavşat. But our sightseeing isn't over yet. First, we'll go to Yukarı Koyunlu Village, where we'll start from Rutav Lake and take a walk to Aşağı Koyunlu Village, enjoying picturesque scenery along the way. Afterwards, we'll stop for a photo break at the Yavuzköy panoramic terrace on our route.
Then, we'll begin our journey to the airport. But our tour isn't over yet—our next stops will be a bit spontaneous. We'll visit either Kamilet Valley, Çağlayan Valley, or Hemşin Valley. Who knows, maybe if we have enough time, we'll make it to Fırtına Valley. We'll steer towards wherever we enjoy the most. At 19:00, we'll see you off at Rize Airport. Single Difference
The difference you need to pay when you want to stay alone in the hotel room. This difference is not requested by Bukla Tour, but by the hotels, and generally the full cost of the second person's accommodation. All single room requests are adjusted according to the availability of the hotels, but are not guaranteed.
