Tour days

Day 1 - Istanbul - Nuuk (Greenland)

Our long journey today, which will begin with a Turkish Airlines flight departing at 07:00, will end in Nuuk. We arrive in Reykjavik between 14:00-15:00. Our flight from here to Nuuk is 6 hours later. Therefore, for those interested, we can visit the Blue Lagoon. After relaxing and unwinding here, we depart for Greenland on the 20:30 flight.
Once we arrive in Nuuk, we head straight to our hotel to rest.

Day 2 - Nuuk - Ilulissat

After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to Nuuk Airport. We fly directly to Ilulissat with Air Greenland. First, we settle into our hotel. Then we will explore this charming town, located at the entrance of the 56 km Icefjord, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004. We learn about the rich cultural history of this town, situated 250 km north of the Arctic Circle. Later in the day, we will have the opportunity to explore under the midnight sun.

Day 3 - Disco Bay Boat Tour & North Greenland Flight Excursion

After breakfast at our hotel, guests who wish may join our guide's optional boat tour or plane tour.

On the boat tour, which will last 3 hours, we will see Disco Bay, the Eqi Glacier, and the town of Ilimanaq. Throughout the trip, we may spot whales or observe icebergs that have broken off from massive glaciers.

During the 1.5-hour plane tour, we will fly over the most popular sites of Greenland.
The flight starts at Ilulissat Airport. Before takeoff, the pilot provides information about the flight and distributes microphone sets for communication. The pilot seats participants in the aircraft. You may sit in the front with the pilot or in the back with other travelers. No matter where you sit, the aircraft's large windows guarantee breathtaking views.

Right after takeoff, heading towards the stunning Eqi Glacier, you'll see Greenland from one of its best perspectives. The edge of Eqi Glacier is a four-kilometer-wide wall of ice.
From here, we fly to the Greenland Icecap, which covers most of the country's surface. Imagine seeing the astonishing formations of ice filling the entire horizon. Then, we continue to the tundra region, where colors shift from white to every shade of green and brown. Here, you may have the chance to spot reindeer.

But our tour isn't over yet! :) After leaving the tundra region, we'll visit Ilulissat and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ilulissat Icefjord, the Isua Glacier, and the Kangia Glacier, where you can see the tracks of rocks carved by the advancing ice.

Flying over the Icefjord, you will see endless icebergs of every imaginable shape and size. Some of these icebergs drifting silently in the sea are as large as islands.

While flying in the area, you might also spot a whale or other Arctic wildlife. Being able to see all this by plane is truly an experience you won’t forget for a lifetime, and one not to be missed while traveling in Greenland.

Day 4 - Sermermuıt Valley Trek

After breakfast at the hotel, we begin our walk toward the Sermermuit Valley. This walk will offer you a hiking experience unlike any you’ve had before. While walking toward the valley, we will see towering icebergs and the remains of abandoned houses. Once we reach the valley, depending on the group’s performance, we will adjust our route toward the Kangia Fjord, which is protected by UNESCO. Ten percent of Greenland’s ice discharge occurs in this fjord. It is even believed that the iceberg that sank the Titanic broke off from this fjord. After completing the Kangia Fjord hike, we return to our hotel by the same route.

Day 5 - Greenland (Ilulissat) - Iceland (Reykjavik)

We leave our hotel early in the morning and head to the airport, setting out towards Reykjavik. Our flight will once again be with a transfer via Nuuk. We arrive in Reykjavik at 17:35 local time. After checking into our hotel and having some rest, we proceed to dinner in the evening.

Day 6 - Skogarfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Solheimasandur, Reynisfjara

After breakfast, we leave Reykjavik. Our first stop is Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. After our visit here, we head towards Skogafoss Waterfall on the Skogar River. Once we've finished with the waterfalls, we go to the plane wreck at Solheimasandur. After taking photos here, we pass by the Solheimajokull Glacier and head to Reynisfjara black sand beach. If time allows, we can also visit the Dyrholaey Lighthouse just before. After leaving Reynisfjara, we go to our hotel.

Day 7 - Skaftafell National Park, Jokulsarlon

After breakfast, we set off towards Skaftafell National Park, the greatest natural wonder in the country and the largest national park in Europe. Afterwards, we visit the stunning Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Then we take photos of the Vatnajokull Glacier and return to our hotel.

Day 8 - Golden Circle; Gullfoss, Geysir, Þingvellir, Reykjavik

After breakfast, we set out for Reykjavik. Today, on our way to Reykjavik, we'll be taking the Golden Circle tour, which is Iceland's most important and popular tour. This tour, a combination of historical and natural sites, gives you the chance to see the wonders of Iceland. During the tour, you'll visit impressive spots such as the massive Gullfoss Waterfall, the Geysir geyser, Þingvellir National Park—which marks the division between the European and North American continents—and the Viking Parliament, which boasts 1,000 years of history. After finishing our trip, we settle into our hotel in Reykjavik.

Day 9 - Reykjavik, Istanbul

We set out for Keflavík Airport around 4:30 a.m. and say goodbye, looking forward to seeing you on another tour.
