Tour days
Our tour begins at 09:00, meeting in front of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Building at Saraçhane. (The fastest and easiest way to get here is via the M2/Hacıosman-Yenikapı Metro line, Vezneciler Station, 16 March Martyrs exit).
First, we visit the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Building and the interesting sculptures in front of it, followed by the remains of what was once the most magnificent church in Istanbul before Hagia Sophia (the Church of Polyeuktos).
After listening to the stories of Kıztaşı, the Bozdoğan (Valens) Aqueduct, and the Haşim İşcan Underpass, we continue to Burmalı Mescit and Helvai Baba, then walk to Süleymaniye while seeing the Şehzade Mosque—which Mimar Sinan referred to as his “apprenticeship masterpiece”—and its remarkable tombs.
On the way, we also tour Kalenderhane, one of the most beautiful Byzantine churches before the conquest, now serving as a mosque, and then break for lunch.
After having lunch at the famous Süleymaniye Kurufasulyecisi, we resume our tour from where we left off. (Lunch will be taken à la carte from the restaurant menu. The meal cost is to be paid by participants.)
The second part of our tour starts with a visit to another masterpiece by Mimar Sinan, the magnificent Süleymaniye. (For mosque visits, female participants are required to bring a headscarf or shawl-style covering. Shoes are removed before entering mosques; if desired, overshoes can be worn over socks, but not over shoes.)
After the mosque, we will also see the tombs of the great lovers of the "Magnificent Century": Kanuni and Hürrem. During our tea-coffee break, we’ll enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Istanbul “from the hills of Eyüp all the way to the Princes’ Islands and Çamlıca” and take plenty of photos.
Then, we will visit the Vefa Kilise Mosque, Vefa Külliyesi, Historic Vefa Bozacısı, the Ayın Biri Church, IMÇ Blocks, and end our tour around 16:00 near Şehzadebaşı at the Women’s Market—also known as “little Siirt”—where you can buy many regional products.

Single Difference
The difference you need to pay when you want to stay alone in the hotel room.
