Swiss Alps - Lauterbrunnen Valley Tour

After breakfast, we leave our hotel and head to the village of Mürren. Mürren, accessible only by cable car, enchants visitors with its stunning views of the Alps. After a short break in Mürren, we start our hike towards Gimmelwald. Along the way, you'll be greeted by dairies, alpine houses, colorful flowers, and the breathtaking scenery of the Jungfrau, Eiger, and Mönch mountains. Upon reaching Gimmelwald, we take a brief rest before descending into the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Passing through Stechelberg, we visit Trümmelbach Falls—the world's only glacier waterfall, which flows through dozens of channels inside the mountain. After witnessing the falls, we marvel at the incredible diversity of the Lauterbrunnen Valley, known as the "Valley of 72 Waterfalls."

After breakfast, our hike begins to the Kleine Scheidegg peak, located at 2,061 meters in the shadow of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains. We first ascend to Wengen, where we admire the Lauterbrunnen Valley and its waterfalls from above. After taking a break here and enjoying the view, we continue via Wengernalp, Allmend, and Lauberhorn, reaching Kleine Scheidegg. We ascend alongside the three magnificent peaks of the Bernese Oberland—Eiger, Jungfrau, and Mönch. After a lunch break at Kleine Scheidegg, we descend by train to Lauterbrunnen and return to our hotel.

After breakfast, we set out towards Grindelwald. After a short tour in Grindelwald, we take the cable car up to the First Station at an elevation of 2,168 meters. From here, we reach Bachalpsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Alps, with a one-hour walk. After a photo break by the lake, we proceed via Waldspitz to Bort at 1,570 meters. After about 1–1.5 hours, we arrive at Bort. On this trail known as the “Flower Path,” you can see at least 60 different endemic flowers. From Bort, we take the train to Grindelwald and then to Lauterbrunnen, spending the rest of the day at leisure. After free time, we return to our hotel.

After breakfast, we pack our belongings, check out from our hotel, and begin the last day of our tour. After a 3-hour journey, we cross the border into the country. Following a short break in Triesenberg, we start our walk on the famous Philosophers’ Route of the region. The hike begins from Gnalp, situated at an altitude of 1,201 meters. We first reach Masescha at 1,234 meters, and then Vorder-Profatscheng. At this point, the views of the Rhine Valley and the beautiful dark brown Walser houses make this route a unique experience. Continuing downhill from here, we arrive at Hinter-Profatscheng. Next, we pass through sparsely wooded mountainous areas and make a 350-meter uphill climb to Gaflei (1,483 meters). The climb is worth the effort because the view from Gaflei overlooking the Rhine Valley is spectacular. After a steep ascent to Gaflei, the route becomes easier, and we return to our starting point via Silum. After completing our hike, we settle into our hotel.

After breakfast, we start exploring Interlaken. We first take a walk at Höheweg Promenade, adorned with flowers, and then enjoy a short break at Höhematte Park with a view of the Jungfrau Mountains. Guests who wish can take the Harder Kulm cable car up to 1,322 meters and enjoy panoramic views from the observation terrace. Afterwards, we provide free time for shopping on streets lined with boutique chocolate shops, cheese stores, and wooden toy workshops. In the afternoon, we board our boat at Interlaken Ost pier and glide across the blue waters of Lake Thun. After seeing Spiez Castle and its harbor from afar and photographing the romantic silhouette of Oberhofen’s lakeside chateau, we arrive in Thun. Here, accompanied by our guide, we tour the 12th-century Thun Castle, the Altstadt’s narrow stone streets, the Christoffelturm clock tower, and the Rathaus. After a short rest at the cafés and tea gardens along the Aare River, we can stroll through Schadau Park and try “Nidelkuchen” at a local bakery. After finishing our tour, we head to Basel Airport, and with Turkish Airlines flight TK1926 departing at 18:55, we return to Istanbul, saying goodbye until we meet again on another BUKLATUR trip.

Kahvaltının ardından Interlaken’e hareket ediyoruz. Öncelikle şehirdeki çiçeklerle bezenmiş Höheweg Promenade’da yürüyüş yapıyor, ardından Höhematte Parkı’nda Jungfrau Dağları manzarası eşliğinde kısa bir mola veriyoruz. Dileyen misafirlerimiz Harder Kulm teleferiğiyle 1.322 metreye çıkarak panoramik seyir terasından bölgeyi izleyebilir. Daha sonra Interlaken’in butik çikolata, peynir ve ahşap oyuncak atölyelerinin bulunduğu caddelerinde alışveriş için serbest zaman sunuyoruz. Serbest zamanın ardından Thun'a geçiyoruz. Burada rehber eşliğinde 12. yüzyıldan kalma Thun Şatosu’nu, dar taş sokaklardaki Altstadt’ı, Christoffelturm saatli kuleyi ve Rathaus’u geziyoruz. Aare Nehri kıyısındaki kafe ve çay bahçelerinde kısa bir dinlenme molası verdikten sonra Schadau Parkı’nda yürüyüş yapabilir, yerel bir pastaneden “Nidelkuchen” tadımı yapabiliriz. Thun'daki gezimizi tamamladıktan sonra Bern'e geçiyoruz.
Bern şehir turumuzda tarihi merkezde; İsviçre Parlamento Binası çevresi, Aare Nehri kıyı hattı, kentin simge duraklarından Saat Kulesi (Zytglogge) ve Bern Katedrali gibi başlıkları şehir dokusunu bozmeden, yürüyüş ve panoramik geçişlerle görüyoruz. Bern gezimizi tamamladıktan sonra Zürih Havalimanı’na doğru yola çıkıyoruz. Bern–Zürih Havalimanı transferi trafik durumuna göre yaklaşık 1 saat 20 dakika planlanır.
