After meeting at Dalaman Airport, we head to Kayaköy (Karmylasoss) by our vehicle. Until the population exchange in 1922, this settlement was inhabited by Greeks; those who moved in afterwards eventually abandoned the area, as its way of life did not suit them. Over time, lack of maintenance caused the roofs and weaker parts of the houses to collapse, but the structures have remained standing, and Kayaköy—now an open-air museum and protected site with its unique scenery—will be the starting point of today's hike. The route, which is also the beginning of the Lycian Way, is easy and makes for a wonderful warm-up walk. First, we tour the inside of Kayaköy and the area where the church is located, taking photos. After spending about an hour here, we ascend toward the west side of the village for our walk to Ölüdeniz. The path mostly runs through the forest. After walking a few kilometers, we start to see views of Ölüdeniz. Our hike ends at the bay. Once we complete this 7 km walk, we can enjoy the sea at either Ölüdeniz or Kıdrak beach. After the walk, we settle into our hotel in Faralya.

Our 15 km hike starts here and follows the Ancient Roman road, offering us breathtaking views of Ölüdeniz and Babadağ. The trail is full of beauty, making you wonder, "Should I watch my step or admire the scenery?" As there are very few water sources along the path, it's important to carry plenty of water with you. Starting from Ovacık, we descend through the foothills of Babadağ to Faralya Village, situated above Butterfly Valley. Thus, we complete this impressive and scenic hike.

After breakfast, we begin our hike towards Fethiye’s mesmerizing Kabak Cove. This route offers a three-hour journey filled with breathtaking views and glimpses of village life. Throughout our walk, we will witness the natural beauty of the Mediterranean. At the end of our hike, participants who wish can add an optional two-hour route to the valley’s waterfall. This additional walk is entirely optional. Those who prefer not to join the hike can enjoy the serene beauty and peaceful atmosphere of the cove.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and begin a steep climb to reach Alınca Village at an elevation of 650 meters. This initial 8 km stage, though challenging, rewards us with stunning views and is among our favorite routes. Upon arriving in Alınca, we take a short break and then make a brief vehicle transfer before heading out toward Gey Village. The second stage, spanning 6 km, offers breathtaking Mediterranean landscapes and the serene beauty of village life untouched by tourism. This route, which lets us savor nature and tranquility at every step, promises an unforgettable experience. After the walk, an extra transfer to the airport is provided, and we bid farewell until we meet again at another BUKLATUR event.
